Abdulgani Macatoman was the Founding Chair and currently Chair Emeritus of BFBCI.

Abdulgani Macatoman is an Undersecretary of the Department of Trade & Industry (DTI). He heads the Office of Special Concerns of the DTI. In a concurrent capacity, he is also serving as the Undersecretary for the Trade and Promotions Group (TPG). He is a former Chairman of Foreign Chamber Council of the Philippines (FCCP); chairman emeritus of Bangsamoro Federal Business Council Inc.; a former Executive Director of PSPA Philippine solar power alliance; and the Former President and CEO of the Global Empire International Group of Companies.
He finished his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Accounting (1991); Bachelor of Laws (1995), and Master of Business Administration (1999) from the University of the East.
He began his public service career by becoming a Consultant in the Office of the President of the Republic of the Philippines and Executive Officer in the Department of Education Culture and Sports (DECS); Consultant of the Philippine Center of Transnational Crime (PCTC), the Office of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief, and currently, under President Rodrigo R. Duterte, as Assistant Secretary, later Undersecretary in the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
He also has received numerous awards and recognitions as a businessman, consultant and public servant. Among these awards are: Ten Outstanding Young Filipinos in 2012, an award from Philippine Cancer Society; Golden Choice Awardee Global Enterpreneur of the year by the Inding Indi Short Film Festival and Asian Humanitarian Businessman of the year by the Global Officials of Dignity (GOD) Awards 2017; “Warrior Communicator Award” bestowed by the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ Hukbong Katihan ng Pilipinas (Philippine Army) and the Civil-Military Operations Group Armed Forces of the Philippines. He is also the Global Muslim Entrepreneurial Awardee during the 3rd International Muslim Entrepreneurial Leaders in Tehran Iran. He was hailed by the Philippine Council of Management (PHILCOMAN) as Management Man for 2017 during the 41st National Management Congress.

Mr. Sibanah R. Menor, (63) from Marawi City is appointed as Acting Chairman of the Board of Trustees, BFBCI on July 23, 2017. He is also the President of Halal Food & Nutrition Council Philippines. He has registered a new medium-B construction firm.

Mr. Menor has 18 years of experience in the field of supervision & construction of high-rise buildings, hotels and palatial residences to the Royal Families in Saudi Arabia during his previous employment as OFW in one of the prestigious consultancy firm based in Jeddah in 1985.

He is currently engaged in SMEs’ textile trading since 2003, supplying several variety of textiles which are all procured in China and Korea. He is the managing co-owner of three (3) single proprietorship establishments, namely: A & I  Fabrics (formerly Twinbucks Enterprise), Amtex Trading, & Melieurre Textiles, all located in Binondo/Divisoria, Manila.

He graduated from the University of the Visayas, Cebu City in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering thereafter his college sophomore years in Mindanao State University, Main Campus. He is married to Hadja Nurliella Ayonan Menor and blessed with two (2) daughters and three (3) sons.

Abdul Hannan M. Tago is a public speaker, presentor and lecturer in various local and international events.

He has 35 years of academic and professional experience in the Middle East, of which eight years were devoted to studies in Cairo, and 25 years as media practitioner and advocate of the rights of OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers) in Saudi Arabia.

He was backed by the three million-strong OFWs in Middle East for his nomination for ambassadorship to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Has also leveraged his media resources to champion the cause of his compatriots in distress in mobilizing the support of mainstream media—including social media, for OFWs in death row in Saudi Arabia.

He worked as Special Adviser to the Director General of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) for the Middle East for six months from April – September 2017.

He is also Executive Director of the Bangsamoro Federal Business Council, Inc. (BFBCI), the first high-profile Filipino Muslim business council in the country.

Due to his 25 years of media work and public relations experience in Saudi Arabia, he was commissioned to the oil-rich country twice prior to the state visit of President Rodrigo R. Duterte in April 2017 as advance party to reach out to Saudi top entrepreneurs and investors that resulted in signing nearly US$500-million investment deals.

He is notably the first Middle East media professional to conduct one-on-one interview with then presidential contender Duterte in February 2016.

He is the first Arabist Filipino multilingual journalist, political analyst and top-notch media consultant with deep insight into Arabic culture and Middle East affairs.

He is the only Filipino journalist who can write in chaste Arabic as regular contributor to leading Arabic newspapers in the Middle East.

He often represented not only the Arab News but also the Saudi media in various regional and international conferences on political and economic issues as well as on tourism.

He appeared on Saudi TV, both in Arabic Channel and the English service (Channel 2), to speak on current issues in Saudi Arabia.

He was Senior Staff Reporter of the Arab News, the Saudi Arabia-based English daily, from 1992 to 2016. His articles appear in well-known publications like Al-Sharq Al-Awsat and Al-Eqtisadiah frequently, besides other Arabic newspapers.

He also worked with Saudi government’s stocks regulator, Capital Market Authority (CMA), and the Saudi Stock Market in its Media and Investment Awareness Department for two years.

On September 12, 2012 he was awarded the title, “Doctor of Humanities AUGP Ambassador of Goodwill of Peace, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia” with the approval of the AUGP (Academy of Universal Global Peace) Board of Directors, Founder and Chairman Most Rev. Dr. Madhu Krishan, for saving an OFW, Dondon Lanuza, from death row.

A Dubai-based magazine Illustrado chose him in 2015 as among the Top 100 Most Influential Filipinos in the Gulf with the title “Media’s Filipino Custodians” (http://www.illustradolife.com/most-influential-filipinos-in-the-gulf-abdul-hannan-tago-medias-filipino-custodians).

He is Vice-Chairman/Board of Directors and Senior Vice-President for International Relations and Cooperation with the rank of Goodwill Ambassador to Saudi Arabia for SPMUDA (Southern Philippines Muslim Unity and Development Association Inc.) International, a non-government organization (NGO) based in Dumaguete City and recognized by the United Nations.

He is CEO of a Mindanao-based NGO for peace, Bangsamoro International Solidarity Conference (BISC). While in Saudi Arabia, he founded the Riyadh-based Filipino Expatriates Council for Justice and Peace (Fil Expats Council) and also the Integrated Mindanao Economic Forum (IMEF).

In 1991, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Arabic Literature, with major in Mass Communications and Public Relations, from Al-Azhar University in Egypt.

In 2010, he obtained courses in Public International Law and Relations from Negros Oriental State University, Main Campus in Dumaguete City. In the same period, he also obtained certificate of training in International Diplomacy and Etiquette from the said university.

Due to his unequalled stint and great trust he enjoys from the business community and the good people and Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Bangsamoro Oil and Fuels Corporation (Moro Oil, for brevity) has appointed Dr. Abdul Hannan Magarang Tago as Business Consultant and Representative to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Datu Engr. Alongan S. Disomimba is a seasoned Project Management & Construction Engineering professional with comprehensive skills in project planning, scheduling, earned value management (EVM), project monitoring, performance management, and strategic planning, having applied in a span of more than 37 years both domestic and abroad (8 countries). He has been involved in the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), engineering detailed design, procurement, construction and commissioning of multi-billion dollars projects worldwide, including oil and gas projects, power plants, refineries, water and wastewater treatment plants.

Datu Engr. Disomimba is an ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE # 1203/PH). He was admitted to the ASEAN Engineers Registry in May 2016. He is a certified Specialist in Project Management & Construction Engineering by the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) in February 2007. He graduated with a degree of BS in Civil Engineering in April 1980 and subsequently passed the Board of Civil Engineers Examination (PRC#25829) given by the Professional Regulation Commission in May 1981. He completed his post graduate Diplomas in Computer Information System and Industrial Management from ICS, Pennsylvania, USA. He is the President / CEO of Safenur Construction & Supply.

Jamal Ashley Abbas is a freelance writer since 1998, former columnist and Managing Editor of Mr. & Ms. Magazine, awardee of the prestigious Manila Rotary Club Journalism Awards in 2001, Media Studies specialist, former lecturer at the University of the Philippines’ College of Mass Communication and Kalayaan College and Far Eastern University. He teaches Communication and English courses at the FEATI University. He gives seminars / workshops on English, Communication, Media Studies and Film in various academic and professional venues.

He has vast and varied academic and work experience. He was a business entrepreneur, a capital markets executive, a licensed real estate broker, Head Executive Assistant and Manager of the Energy Research Dept. at the Philippine National Oil Co. (PNOC). He was a consultant at the Presidential Commission Urban Poor (PCUP), Presidential Commission for Good Government (PCGG), Off ice of the Presidential Adviser for Climate Change (OPACC) and Office of the Vice President (Laurel), among others.

He is a social media manager, taking care of several blogs and FB pages including his “flagship” blog, Postprandial Musings, 2.0 @ jamalashley.com and the blogs of the Freelance Writers’ Guild of the Philippines (FWGP) and Astrology Friends Philippines.

He finished his M.A. in Media Studies from the country’s “national university”,  University of the Philippines (U.P.). He was the top of his class (GPA of 1.0 = equivalent to 4.0 in the US) and won the Best M.A. Thesis of the College. He was also the President of the CMC Graduate Students’ Association for two years. He is the first Filipino to graduate with an M.A. Media Studies degree from U.P.

He did graduate studies in Business Economics, the Strategic Business Economics Program (SBEP), the flagship graduate studies program of the University of Asia and the Pacific, a top Catholic institution known for its economic researches / studies.

His undergraduate degree is in Petroleum Engineering  (B.Sc. Pet. Eng.) from the top school in the Middle East – the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals – where he was a Dean’s Lister. He is the first Filipino petroleum engineer.

He also has Diplome in French Language from Alliance Francaise. He attended classes in Paris and Manila.

Paisalin PDM Tago is a Lawyer and CPA by profession. He has been in the government service for almost 30 years serving in various capacities as legislator, parliamentarian, finance officer, administrator, etc. Very briefly, he practice law as managing and senior partner of Tago, Lopez, Senados and Fuentes Law Office. A former chief accountant and budget officer, legal officer, finance director, member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Lanao del Sur, Member of Regional Legislative Assembly of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Minadanao, Speaker of the Regional Assembly of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, Board of Administrator of the Cooperative Development Authority, a consultant to Senate President Koko Pimintel and presently, as a Commissioner of the National Commision on Muslim Filipinos.
