Bangsa Mranaw Congress founding Chairman Sultan of Lanao, Atty Firdausi I.Y. Abbas, bestowed the Kampilan Award to honorary datu Carlos “Sonny” Garcia Dominguez III, for his leadership and exemplary service in the government. The former Department of Finance Secretary Datu Dominguez, a proud son of Mindanao, is one of the architects of the Build, Build, Build Program and Tax Reform Agenda implemented under the previous Administration.
BFBCI President Datu Al-Rais Nasraili B.Conding, a member of the Executive Council of Bangsa Mranaw Congress graced the occasion as Master of Ceremony. Senator Sonny Angara and DILG Undersecretary for Mindanao Affairs and Special Concerns Atty. Alfredo Bayan were among the honored guests and keynote speakers, held last October 15, 2022 at Roma Salon, Manila Hotel, Philippines.
