Misuari to Represent BARMM at AFEX’23 in Istanbul, Turkiye
Hon. Ustadz Abdulkarim Misuari, MP heads the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) delegation to the AFEX’23 business expo and conference in Istanbul, Turkiye. This prestigious event is garnering global attention and offers a significant platform to showcase the economic potential and investment prospects of the BARMM region.
Hon. Ustadz Abdulkarim Misuari is the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of BARMM and Vice-Chairman of the Moro National Liberation Front. He is the son of MNLF Founder and Chairman Prof. Nur Misuari. His participation at AFEX’23 underscores the BARMM government’s commitment to fostering international partnerships and exploring avenues for economic growth.
To facilitate his visit, Hon. Misuari is in the process of securing his visa to the Turkish Embassy, with the gracious accompaniment of Datu Jihad Abbas, VP-Corporate Affairs of the Bangsa Moro Federal Business Council, Inc. (BFBCI), and Mr. Eric Yam VP of the Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industries Philippines (MCCIP). Their presence and assistance at the Turkish Embassy have been invaluable in navigating the visa application process smoothly.
BFBCI, as the authorized entity for promoting AFEX2023 in the Philippines, plays a crucial role in facilitating such high-level engagements and ensuring a successful trip for Hon. Misuari.
Accompanying the younger Misuari at AFEX’23 will be Hon. Denmartin A. Kahalan, MP, known for his expertise in economic development, and Mr. Darwin Abdulkadil, representing the Office of the Chief Minister of the BARMM.
