ASEC MACATOMAN PRESIDES OVER THE BIMP-EAGA SENIOR OFFICIALS MEETING IN JAKARTA

JAKARTA: Abdulgani Macatoman, Assistant Secretary at the Philippines Department of Trade and Industry and Philippine Senior Official to the BIMP-EAGA presides over the Senior Officials’ preparatory meeting for the 21st BIMP-EAGA Ministerial Meeting held at Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Brunei Darussalam-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) was launched in 1994 to increase trade, tourism and investments cooperation in six (6) strategic areas, namely: Connectivity, Food Basket; Tourism, Environment, Trade nad Investment Facilitation, and Socio-cultural Education. The BIMP-EAGA is envisioned to be private-sector led and market-driven.

Macatoman is the former Chairman of BFBCI.
