The San Fernando, Pampanga’s Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Bangsa Moro Federal Business Council, Inc. (BFBCI) hosted a welcome dinner for BFBCI Chair Emeritus and DTI Usec Abdulgani M. Macatoman at Quest Hotel, Clark, Pampanga on July 1, 2019. The affair was in conjunction with the 2nd Philippine National Halal Conference to be held on the following day at the same hotel.

BFBCI Pres.Datu Nasraili B. Conding and Pres. Wang of SFFCCCI gave welcome remarks while Undersecretary Macatoman spoke on the Halal Industry and how it relates to business people, esp. in Region 3 with the coming Southeast Asian Games this September.

Datu Conding recalled the time when in 1417, a Sulu Sultan, Paduka Battara (Pahala) led a delegation of more than 300 Moro people to pay tribute to the Chinese emperor Chengzu of the Ming Dynasty. For some unfortunate reasons, the Sultan fell ill and died. The emperor ordered that he be given a burial fit for a Chinese king. Datu Conding said that the Moro-Chinese friendly relations goes very far back indeed. (See video below)
